Welcome to Eaglewings Cottage

Eaglewings cottage is a luxury waterfront year round lake front pet friendly country home, camp, corporate retreat, yoga retreat and team building weekend location. We have 6 + bedrooms ( plus king pullout bed in the screened porch and another king pullout bed in the family room) makes it ideal for extended families, or multi-family gatherings.

Peak Season Rental from June 13 to Sept 10, 2021 is a 7 day minimum, from Saturday to Saturday. Maximum guests allowed is 14.

DISCOVER THE CHARM OF EAGLEWINGS

Relax and Indulge in Outdoor Activities

Enjoy the view of Buckhorn Lake from the Dining Room as yachts and come and go through the Lovesick Locks 1 km away, or bring your own boat from Canada or the USA by sailing up the Trent Severn Waterway system from the Great Lakes, through the locks to Buckhorn Lake.

There are 2 kayaks and 2 stand up paddle board available, with PFD’s or life-jackets and a hot tub. Boats and houseboats are also welcome and are for rent nearby. Due to concern for our neighbours, Seadoos, (personal watercraft) are not permitted. Experience a quiet afternoon under the sun with friends and family while preparing the BBQ on the Grill.

Covid-19 Update:

Should the province institute a future short term rental ban in the Peterborough/ Kawartha area, or a travel restriction then we will refund the rental in full. If someone in your party gets sick beforehand or during your stay, that is a matter to be dealt with by your Trip Cancellation Insurance.

Note: You must book within Peak, Mid or Low seasons. If the dates you desire are not within a season you must make two separate bookings that are within their season.

A $550 cleaning fee and a $200 pet cleaning fee ( refundable if no pets ) and 13% HST will be added to the rates below at checkout.
